For years during his early career, Moreland toured the United States as an electronic top 40’s remix/bootleg producer/dj. “Depths” reflects both his understanding of pop/edm music as well as the melancholy emptiness left from endless nights in the club. The album features several guest vocalist, a couple redux versions, and instrumental versions of every track. It is a fluid mix of live instrumentation, synthesis, and digital production with very classic analog overtones throughout.
